Product Description
ASME SA 333 Grade 1 Carbon Steel Seamless Pipes are Medium Carbon Steel Pipes with max 0.30 % carbon content with combination of 0.40 - 1.06 % manganese. These Pipes are most commonly used for general purpose applications worldwide. ASME SA 333 Grade 1 Pipes are ductile and strong Pipes with long wearing properties. These Pipes are manufactured as per ASME Specification and commercially referred as carbon steel Pipes.
ASME SA 333 Grade 1 Specification covers nominal (average) wall seamless and welded carbon and alloy steel pipe intended for low temperature use. Several grades of ferritic steel are included like grade1, grade3 & grade6. Some product sizes may not be available under ASME SA 333 Grade 1 Carbon Steel Seamless Pipes because heavier wall thicknesses have an adverse effect on low-temperature impact properties. ASME SA 333 Grade 1 Pipes are supplied with NACE MR 0103 AND NACE MR 0175 certifications with additions of HIC testing at low temperatures.

Production process
1. Materials: Take the raw materials out of the raw material warehouse or procurement channels, and conduct inspection and sorting;
2, temperature control: according to the required performance of the product, choose the appropriate temperature, and control it within a certain range;
3. Heating: Use hot blast stove or other heating methods to heat raw materials to the required temperature;
4, annealing: the heated raw materials into the torch box for annealing treatment, in order to improve the mechanical properties of raw materials;
5. Hot rolling: Put the heated raw materials into the hot rolling mill, and process the raw materials through pressure to obtain the required products;
6, cooling: hot rolled products with water or other coolant for cooling, to ensure the stability of the product structure;
7, detection: physical and chemical performance test to determine whether it meets the requirements;
8. Finishing: Organize the products, label them, and prepare them for loading and delivery.
Mechanical Testing
Transverse or Longitudinal Tension Test and Flattening Test, Hardness Test, or Bend Test For material heat treated in a batch-type furnace, tests shall be made on 5% of the pipe from each treated lot. For small lots, at least one pipe shall be tested. For material heat treated by the continuous process, tests shall be made on a sufficient number of pipe to constitute 5% of the lot, but in no case less than 2 pipe. Hydrostatic Test Impact Test One notched bar impact test, consisting of breaking three specimens shall be made from each heat represented in a heat-treatment load on specimens taken from the finished pipe.
Application
A333Gr1 cryogenic pipe is suitable for seamless steel pipe of -45ºC ~ -195ºC grade low-temperature pressure vessel pipe and low-temperature heat exchanger pipe.
