ASTM A213 T22 is a specification for seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger tubes. These tubes are commonly used in high-temperature applications in power plants, refineries, and other industrial settings. The T22 designation indicates that the alloy steel tube is made from a material that contains 2.25% chromium and 1% molybdenum, which gives it improved corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. This alloy steel tube is suitable for operating temperatures up to 600°C (1112°F).
