Alloy 800: This is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with a composition that generally includes 30-35% chromium and 19-23% nickel. It offers good resistance to oxidation and carburization at high temperatures and is often used in heat exchangers, furnace components, and other high-temperature environments.
Alloy 800H: This is a modified version of Alloy 800 with higher creep-rupture strength. It contains the same basic elements but with a tighter control on carbon content and additional elements like titanium and aluminum to enhance its high-temperature properties. Alloy 800H is often used in applications where higher strength is required, such as in steam generator tubing and high-temperature furnace components.
Alloy 800HT: This variant of Alloy 800H is designed for even higher temperature service. It has similar composition to Alloy 800H but is specifically used in applications that require even greater resistance to thermal aging. It's suitable for extreme high-temperature applications like gas turbines and industrial furnaces.
